Terms and conditions
We ask that you carefully read the Terms and Conditions before using our services. When using our page and housing your animals at CLICK AND CHILL, a for-profit canine accommodation, owned and managed by Carolina MC Marques and Rita SPM Andrés, hereinafter referred to as the accommodation, the owner of the companion animal, hereinafter referred to as the CLIENT , declares to know and accept the terms and conditions of accommodation described below and to consent to be bound by these conditions. The CUSTOMER undertakes to provide the correct information necessary to complete the Customer Form, which forms an integral part of these General Conditions, and to keep its data updated. If you do not agree with all the Conditions, the CUSTOMER should not use our services. CLICK AND CHILL undertakes to install its CUSTOMER's pet in our accommodation, during the period agreed with the CUSTOMER, providing it with care guard in an individual box that will be maintained in adequate hygiene standards, administering food in accordance with the CLIENT's instructions. CLICK AND CHILL will require the presentation and a copy of the Vaccination Bulletin, with all vaccines duly endorsed, with at least 8 days prior to admission, namely Rabies, Kennel Cough and Leptospirosis. The animal must be dewormed internally and externally and neutered, if it is a male over 12 months old, and not be in heat if it is a female, for which the CLIENT, as responsible for their animal, will be responsible due to pregnancy and/or the spread of any disease to other animals. Any chronic or recent illness that the animal carries must be reported to CLICK AND CHILL. If the animal is undergoing any treatment or medication, the CLIENT must bring the prescription from the Assistant Veterinarian. THE CLIENT declares that the animal delivered on this date does not have any behavioral problems, such as aggression, separation anxiety and is sociable with people and others animals. CLICK AND CHILL reserves the right to accept reservations made, whenever it is verified upon delivery of the animal that it is not in the appropriate health, behavior and hygiene conditions. In high season, reservations of less than 5 days will be conditioned, however we will try to confirm according to our limitations. CLICK AND CHILL will notify the CUSTOMER or his substitute, the person who will represent him, through the contacts made available for this purpose in the Customer Form, who must pick up the animal from immediately, in the event of a substantial change in the patient's health status. In the absence of a response and in cases of an urgent nature, which compromise its health status and which justify immediate action, namely carrying out a consultation or hospitalization of the animal in a veterinary establishment with the aim of preserving its health and well-being, CLICK AND CHILL is exempt from the CUSTOMER's authorization, all expenses incurred in these circumstances will be the exclusive responsibility of the owner and, as such, invoiced directly to the CUSTOMER by the service providers. Our opening hours to the public are from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturdays, closed on Sundays and public holidays. Check-in and check-out must be carried out from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, otherwise a fee of €25.00 will be added if this time is exceeded. The reception or delivery of animals outside of public service will only be carried out by appointment. On Easter Sunday, Christmas and New Year's Day, animals are not allowed to enter or leave. The price of each service will be that which is stipulated, at any time, on our page www.clickandchill.pt/hotel-preços-e- conditions and duly described upon entry into our accommodation. Prices may be changed at any time, but possible changes will not affect reservations for which we have already sent the corresponding confirmation. Payment method for the service can be made in the following ways: Paypal, Bank Transfer to the IBAN account PT50 004551204032343183803 or MBWay to number 926960846. You must send proof of payment to the email clickandchillthc@gmail.com. In payments made through the aforementioned systems, CLICK AND CHILL makes a reservation for 48 hours, after which, if payment is not confirmed, the reservation will be canceled. Additional services such as baths, nail cutting, transportation, veterinary services, will only be provided upon express indication of the CLIENT, being their sole responsibility and will be invoiced in accordance with the provision of service. Despite all care being taken and always with the supervision of our trainers or handlers, the CUSTOMER accepts that there are inherent risks and accepts that CLICK AND CHILL cannot be held responsible for any accidents or problems arising in the cases indicated below, which will only be provided with the express authorization of the CUSTOMER, always being the responsibility of your responsibility: Accommodation in a family space with other companion animals; Daily release in a fenced outdoor area, with other companion animals; Playing with ball games, pull toys, searching for objects, parties; Swimming and playing in the pool; Countryside walks. The CLIENT is responsible for complying with all legal obligations regarding their pet and assumes objective, subjective and effective responsibility for any damage to their pet, including escape or death, in the event of a catastrophe, illness or any accident (own damage ) that may occur during the stay, and/or any damages and losses, of a material or non-material nature, caused by your animal to third parties, being responsible for any expenses or compensation. At the time of booking, the CLIENT must pay 25% of the Estimated value for the stay, non-refundable and deductible at the end of the stay. This amount will not be refundable under any circumstances. The hosted animal will only be delivered to the CLIENT or whoever they nominate as a replacement, after full payment for the stay. CLICK AND CHILL reserves the right to retain the animal as long as the outstanding amounts are not paid or if the animal is not picked up promptly on the previously agreed date. It also reserves the right to dispose of the animal as it sees fit, namely by offering, selling or delivering it to the services of the Municipal Kennel, if the outstanding amount is not paid or the animal is not picked up within 7 days, after notification to the CLIENT by email. The daily value of the retained animal will be increased by 20% of the agreed value during the retention period. Food expenses during the retention period will be the responsibility of the CUSTOMER and will be added to the amount payable. Your comments and suggestions will always be welcome. We ask you to send your suggestions and comments to our email clickandchillthc@gmail.com. CLICK AND CHILL always seeks to resolve all possible conflicts. If something did not go well or if, as a consumer, you consider that your Rights have been violated, we ask you to inform us directly or to the email address clickandchillthc@gmail.com, in order to seek an out-of-court resolution. In this sense, we inform you that in accordance with EU Regulation No. 524/2013 you have the right to try to resolve any dispute extrajudicially, through the Alternative Dispute Resolution Entities available under article 17. of Law No. 144/2015, of 8 September, on the Consumer Portal, via the website www.consumidor.pt. Applicable law requires that some of the notices we give you be in writing. By using this service, the CLIENT accepts that notifications are made by email to the address provided when making their reservation, accepts and acknowledges that the use of this means of communication in all contracts, notifications, information satisfies the legal requirement of that such notifications be made in writing. CUSTOMER notifications must be sent, preferably, via email or, in the case of a complaint, through the Complaints Book located at our facilities. Notifications will be considered to have been received and duly made 24 hours after sending an email or three days after the post office date of sending any letter.
